The road to the “Paradiso” is not a common one. It is a white track, embraced by the woods, laid down by the distant passage of pilgrims, who, leaving behind them the towers of Siena, would go forth into the savage Maremman landscape, to reach Rome and the centre of their hearts. It is a road which today is peaceful, but still resounds with echoes from the valley, the rustle of multi-coloured leaves and sudden starts of animals in the woods. And so, indulging the eye on the tilled fields that open into glades, or on the lazy passing of the river, or deciphering rocks that have been shaped by wise hands, our guests leave angst and noise behind, to enter their dream and reach “Paradiso”.
